  • The Culture Clash - Jean Donaldson

    This is the book that got me hooked on dog training. Even though it can be a wee-bit technical in a few spots, I encourage all dog owners to read it if they’d like to really understand their dog and how they learn. You can buy it here.

  • Life Skills for Puppies - Helen Zulch and Daniel Mills

    Getting dogs off to a good start is really important. This book offers great advice for your new addition. You can buy it here.

  • Mine! A Practical Guide to Resource Guarding in Dogs - Jean Donaldson

    Growling or even biting when you approach your dog when they have something valuable (like a bully stick, a favorite toy, a favorite spot on the couch, or even their food bowl) is a behavior that can be modified. You can buy it here.

  • Bravo Dog Podcast

    Renée Erdman’s podcast is a nice mix of information for trainers and pet owners. You can download just the podcasts which interest you, of course. I enjoy the variety of topics and guests and Renée’s information is solid. You can find it wherever you download podcasts.

  • Crate Games by Susan Garret
